Colorado River near Parshall 4/23/05
Flow: ~300cfs
Weather: Sunny and calm
Water Temp: ~50 degrees

Started fishing at about 12:30 pm. BWO's (sz 20) were coming off and fish were rising for about an hour. After that very few fish were rising although there were still BWO's coming off.

The best fly today was BH F/B Hares Ear sz 18. For some strange reason all the fish were 16 inches or better with the largest being 24 inches. Also I landed half rainbows and half browns. Pretty unusual for me to catch that many rainbows on the Colorado.
