Very low flows, nice warm day. Fished a new pattern today. Sort of a Black RS2 with a dark cdc with a couple of pieces of flash in the wing. I fished it both on top as a dry and under as an emerger. I also fished a Hair Ball at the usual "lunch" time. This fly should be a bit lighter in color, but it still took fish.

The fishing was quite good today with very low flows (~30 cfs) and crystal clear water. Only a few people on the water in midweek. Did not see any BWO's flying around, but did see a few grey caddis. Pretty soon the small grey micro caddis should be in full swing. BWO's probably still 3 weeks away.
