The weather was rolling in here so I headed to Cheesman. What I found was a nice sunny day with a ton of wind. The BWO's were hatching, but the fish were rising sporadically. The fish were rising to two patterns: An Olive Quill Dun and a Parachute Hopper . The Dun was about a sz 20 or 22 and the Hopper was the tan version. Flows were about 100 cfs, and the water was crystal clear. I'm not sure if the hoppers died in the cold weather we had the other night. I would still give them a try for the next couple of days even if it did, as the fish will still be looking for them.

When I was driving away the rain started really coming down, so I'm not sure how clear the river is today.
