A very nice day to be on the Big T. I was a bit suprised at how many people were on the water for a Friday at this time of year. In any case productive patterns for the day were San Juan worm (tan), Egg-ala-Muck, and a Zebra Midge. What will work over the next few days maybe quite different as the water was full of junk (algae) as a result of the river flows increasing by almost a 100 percent over the previous day (from 28 cfs to 50 cfs). So I failed to do what I usually do, check the flows before I leave the house. Oh well.

By now the water is probably crystal clear again so if I went up today I would be looking to fishing midges. There was a tremendous midge hatch, but the fish really could not see it, so only a few were rising for them.

On a side note the road through Hygine(sp) is under construction, so if you usually go that way don't!!!

I didn't see any fish on redds, but from their colors I expect them to be there soon.
