Such a beautiful day in the fall should not be missed. The colors on the Poudre can be just outstanding, but I digress.
Weather: Sunny, upper 60's. Slight breeze.
Area: Upper Restricted area:
Water: 50 cfs maybe, temp low 50s and gin clear.
Time: 1:00pm - 6:30 pm.

Bugs: Mostly midges, We did have luck with adams and Rusty Spinners (sz 18-20). Fish were rising a lot from about 5:00pm till we left. I have not quite figured out what midge emerger they're looking for. Tried RS2 (black) and grey WD 40's and Biot Midges. I think the key here maybe very small (think size 24-2. Hair balls in the right shade/shape also successful at the appropriate time and place.

I'm suprised that I've not seen more BWO action....
