Fished the Colorado River about 4 miles downstream from Parshall on May 19, 2204. The Salmon flies were every where. We started fishing at about noon and fished till sunset. The flies were most active between noon and 5:00 pm. Best fly for the day was an Improved Sofa Pillow size 6. This hatch seemed to be about a week earlier than last year. Both years had very low flows, ~ 250 CFS.
It will probably be a long time before flows are this low again at this time of year.
