Flow:70 CFS and dropping
Clarity: Clear, but not gin clear.
Air Temp: ~60 degrees
Wind: none
Water Temp: ~40

A lot of people on the water today, but I did not see anyone else catch a fish. For me a rough day, but a small tan san juan worm was marginally productive. These winter days are best for thread midge patterns and sight nymphing. The takes are so subtle, that relying on an indicator can result in a lot of missed hook ups. So fish to fish you can see, and if you see them move when your fly is in the area try setting the hook. Not hard, but check to see if they took.

In general the fish are not going to move much at this time of year.
