Strange grand slam: Rainbow, Cutbow, Brown and Splake. Caddis size 16, PMD's size 18 and "Caenis" (White Winged Sulphurs) at sunset. This is the first time I've seen a Caenis hatch.
The spinners look like tricos, except the body is more white and the leading edge of the wings are black. Use a trico to match.

The number of different Caddis on this river is enormous, so try a few different sizes and colors.

Flow was about 120 cfs. Clarity was good and weather was extremely hot (+90).

Best rainbow of the day, not huge, but this is the N. St. Vrain.
